Greater Noida Expressway comes alive as the highly anticipated GI Fair India opens its doors for its second edition from 20th to 24th July 2023 at the India Expo Centre. The event has attracted not only business visitors from India and overseas but also enthusiastic individuals from Delhi NCR, some of whom have traveled from as far as Gurgaon and Faridabad to experience this treasure trove of India's richest and rarest products.
GI Fair India has established itself as a haven for sourcing high-end and premium corporate gifts, boasting an extensive range of handicrafts, agricultural produce, spices, teas, and condiments. The fair showcases a diverse array of products, from exquisite woodcraft and elegant glassware to intricate stone crafts and hand-painted artifacts, providing ample choices for corporate gifting needs.
Excitement surrounds the stalls offering spices, condiments, teas, and sun-dried farm produce, beautifully presented in gift packaging, with the added option of customization. To entice visitors, some exhibitors are offering tastings of their delectable sweets, beverages, fruits, and paan, successfully drawing crowds with their delectable offerings.

Traditional attire enthusiasts are delighted by the wide range of festive sarees and dress materials available at the fair. From the opulent Banarasi brocade and Assam's rich Muga silk to the vibrant Jamnagari Bandhani and Gujarat's Patan Patola, the choices are abundant. Additionally, visitors can explore a variety of silks from different states, such as pattus mainly designed for weddings, the famous Chikan craft from Lucknow, Madhya Pradesh's Bagh prints, Punjab's Phulkari, and many more.
The GI Fair India aims to promote and preserve the country's rich heritage by showcasing live demonstrations of Geographical Indication (GI) tagged crafts. Visitors are drawn to the skilled craftsmanship of artisans as they display their talents in various crafts such as Kashmir Sozani embroidery, Bihar's Madhubani Painting, Andhra Pradesh's Srikalahasti Kalamkari, West Bengal's Nakshi Kantha, Rajasthani Kathputlis, Punjab's Phulkari, and Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal horn craft.\
Celebrating '2023 - The Year of the Millet,' the fair introduces the magic food in various delightful variations through the Shree Anna Thali. Attendees have the opportunity to savor millet dishes, witness their preparation, and even purchase the raw material to recreate these healthy meals at home.

The fair also offered enriching seminars on 'Introduction to Export Business: Basics, Opportunities, and Challenges' and 'Enhancing User Experience and Accessibility by Unlocking Packaging Convenience for Export Target Markets.' Attendees gained valuable insights from domain experts, including procedures and documentation required to start an export business, online and offline marketing strategies, branding strategies, and the benefits of IEML's eNurture Program for artisans and entrepreneurs. Additionally, experts shed light on packaging aspects such as branding, alternatives to bubble wrap, sustainability, and identifying new markets.
