The Bihar government is running an agriculture mechanization scheme for the state's farmers. Farmers will benefit from a subsidy on purchasing agricultural machinery under this scheme. Farmers will be given a grant on agricultural machinery worth Rs.9405.54 lakh under this scheme for the fiscal year 2022-23. The Agricultural Mechanization Scheme includes 90 different types of farming machines. Grants are available at various rates for the machines on the agricultural machinery list. Required documents for Agriculture Mechanization Scheme Bihar: -

The following documents are required for applying to the Agricultural Mechanization Scheme:

• Receipt for farmer registration.

• Photocopy of the farmer's Aadhar card.

• Farmer's bank account details, first-page copy of bank passbook.

• Photograph of the applicant farmer in passport size.

• Self-declaration form for a computerized bill of purchased agricultural machinery.

• For tractor-driven machines, an RC of tractor is required.

Ways to Apply to Agriculture Mechanization Scheme Bihar: -

• To begin, the applicant must visit the Bihar government website at https://dbtagriculture.bihar.gov.in/.

• Click on the Agricultural Mechanization Scheme button on the home page. A new page will then appear in front of you.

• You must click on the Farmer Application button located here.

• A drop-down menu will then appear. The applicant must click on the "Apply for a subsidy" link.

• Following that, a new side-drop menu will appear. Then, the applicant must click on the Application Entry button.

• The applicant will then be taken to a new page. The farmer registration number must be entered by the applicant.

• Then, click Get Registration Details.

• The applicant will then be taken to a new page. In which all of the applicant's information will be included. On the same page, at the bottom, there is a Yes button; click on it.

• Following that, a new information form will appear. There will be a link to fill out additional information below that; click on it.

• A new page will then appear in front of you. It will include a registration form. Fill out all of the required information and upload all of the required documents.

• Then click the submit button.
