Geeani Compact Tractor Impresses Everyone in Shark Tank India Season 2

In the recent episode of Shark tank India season 2, three aspiring entrepreneurs presented a compact tractor for farmers who own a small piece of land and can’t afford big tractors for yield. Well, the name of this tractor brand is Geeani. Geeani brings compact tractors for small land owners for farming to enhance production on a small acre of land.

Established on 29^th March 2022 in Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat, India, Geeani Agritech Private Limited is a new-age tractor brand with efficient compact tractors. This company is led by 4 directors named Anitha Muralidas Panikar, Vignesh Muraleedas Panikar, Manishdas Muralidas Panikar, and Prajal Geetaben Menon.

They primarily manufacture electronic compact tractors that have smaller sizes and are beneficial to small-scale farmers. They aim to sell these tractors at a very low market price to the farmers who cannot afford expensive ones.

Namita also asked the pitcher about the name of the company. He explained that the first half of the name comes from the name of his late mother and the last half is of the lady who took care of him after his parents passed away. It made all the judges quite emotional. Aman also drove the tractor taking all the other sharks with him.

These three entrepreneurs came to Shark Tank India with a pitch of Rs. 75 lakhs against 7.5% equity. They displayed a cost and power-efficient compact tractor with an attractive design. The pitcher also told the judges that they have already received an order of 100 units as the season is about to get started.

The sharks were quite impressed by their vision and offered them a deal. Anupam suggested that all the ‘sharks’ should come together to offer him a deal but Amit said he wants to go solo. Vineeta, Aman, and Anupam together gave them an offer with 1cr in exchange for 10% of equity. Amit also offered them Rs. 1.5 crore for 20% equity but they accepted the trio’s offer.

This episode also showed the owners of a gelato ice cream brand and a flower jewellery brand pitching their businesses to the judges of the show.
