Garuda Aerospace Speeds Up IPO in Response to PM Modi's 'Namo Drone Didi' Initiative
Chennai-based drone startup, Garuda Aerospace, is making waves by demonstrating the superiority of drone crop spraying over traditional methods. With plans to expedite its IPO, the company aligns with Prime Minister Modi's agricultural revolution initiative, 'Namo Drone Didi,' aiming to deploy 15,000 Kisan Drones and empower rural communities, particularly women entrepreneurs.
A Chennai-based drone startup, Garuda Aerospace, has shown that using drones to spray crops beats the traditional method of humans with hand sprayers. Their drone operations are 50 percent more successful at keeping locusts in check and a massive 250 percent more efficient in saving time and protecting crops.
Garuda Aerospace is taking a new approach to go public sooner than expected, and the reason behind the rush is Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Namo Drone Didi' initiative. This plan involves rolling out 15,000 Kisan Drones, backed by a substantial budget of 1261 crores, aiming to bring a revolution to agriculture and uplift rural communities, especially focusing on empowering women entrepreneurs.

The government's dedication to innovating agriculture has caught the attention of venture capital funds interested in agri-drone companies. Garuda Aerospace views this as a great chance, and that's why the company is speeding up its plans to go public and gather funds. These funds will then be utilized to grow, enhance research and development, and improve their support to the agricultural community.
Agnishwar Jayprakash, the founder and CEO at Garuda Aerospace, believes that PM Modi's 'Namo Drone Didi' plan is an excellent deal for farming and it shows the company’s dedication to empowering women entrepreneurs in rural areas.
