In a recent MoU, Garuda Aerospace has committed to providing 10 agricultural drones to Kaushalya – The Skill University, promoting skill development in agriculture. Garuda Aerospace aims to position Gujarat as India's Drone Hub and contribute to job growth.
Chennai-based Garuda Aerospace has proven to be 80 percent more effective than humans using manual sprayers for controlling locusts. Additionally, these operations have shown a remarkable 250 percent increase in efficiency, saving time and ensuring crop safety. Now farmers can navigate different situations and make informed choices with the assistance of the Farn agriculture drone. Utilizing drones for surveys not only boosts crop yields but also cuts down on time and expenses.
In a recent Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Garuda Aerospace commits to supplying Kaushalya – The Skill University with 10 small-category agricultural drones, valued at around Rs 1 crore.
These drones will be employed for specialized training programs in agriculture, contributing to skill development in this vital sector. Beyond hardware support, Garuda Aerospace will provide mentorship for drone technology to students and start-ups associated with the university.
