First FPO Call Center In India Will Inaugurate On January 24th In Delhi
AFC India Limited, in collaboration with Krishi Jagran, plans to open India's first FPO call center on January 24, 2023 (Tuesday). At the Krishi Jagran headquarters in New Delhi on Tuesday, Dr. Vijaya Lakshmi Nadendia, Joint Secretary (Marketing), Ministry of Agriculture, will officially open the FPO call center. The event, which will be held in hybrid mode, will feature participation from MC Dominic, the founder and chairman of Krishi Jagran and Agriculture World, Shiny Dominic, the managing director of Krishi Jagran & Agriculture World, and Mashar Velapurath, the MD of AFC India Limited.

As the Indian agriculture sector grows as a result of the introduction of more farmer-producer organizations, it is critical to assist FPOs in growing. Utilizing resources from KVKs, State Agriculture Universities, Central Agriculture Universities, and Subject Matter Specialists, this game-changing initiative operates as a Query Resolve Committee.
The call center provides support for a variety of issues, including registration, business plans, ROC-related problems, legalization, production, purchasing, finances, storage, and processing, to name a few. With this project, Krishi Jagran and AFC want to help FPOs find the best solutions for running their organizations effectively.
How does the FPO Call Centre work?
All incoming calls from FPOs will be answered by the FPO call center, which is connected to the toll-free number 1800 889 0459.
The call will be forwarded to the area code or language the caller prefers once the FPO/federation/cooperation dials the number.
Organizations will be prompted for basic information and their question as soon as the call center receives the data, and then the call will be transferred to the experts.
The FPO call center service is available in 12 languages throughout India, including English, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, and Oriya.
