Farmers Will Get Bumper Subsidy On 90 Types Of Agricultural Machinery, Application Date Extended

The Agricultural Mechanization Scheme is being run by the Government of Bihar to provide the benefit of subsidy to the farmers on the purchase of agricultural machinery. The last date of this scheme has been extended to January 17, 2023. Now the farmers of the state will be able to apply till January 17 for subsidy on 90 types of agricultural implements.

Subsidy Is Being Given On Which Equipment In The Scheme

Subsidies are available under the Agricultural Mechanization Scheme for 90 different types of agricultural machinery. Ploughing machines, seed sowing machines, weeding machines, harvesting machines, as well as machines useful to sugarcane farmers and horticultural machines, have all been included. According to the Agriculture Department, this scheme provides subsidies for useful machines such as the Happy Seeder, Super Seeder, Cultivator, and Thresher. In this manner, farmers receive subsidies for 90 different types of agricultural machinery.

How Much Subsidy Will Be Given To Farmers On Agricultural Machinery

The Government of Bihar intends to provide farmers with agricultural machinery subsidies worth Rs 94.05 crore under the Agricultural Mechanization Scheme in the fiscal year 2022-23. Farmers will benefit from subsidies ranging from 40 to 80 percent under this scheme. This subsidy is distributed at different rates for various types of agricultural equipment.

Bihar Agricultural Mechanization Scheme Eligibility and Conditions

• This scheme is only available to farmers in the state of Bihar.

• The farmer applying for this scheme must be a Bihar native.

• Farmers with cultivable land are eligible to participate in this scheme.

• Farmers who pay income taxes are not eligible for this scheme.

• Aside from that, farmers who have already received subsidies under the Agriculture Mechanization Scheme will be ineligible.

Documents Required To Apply In Bihar Agricultural Mechanization Scheme 

Farmers will need the following documents to apply for the Agriculture Mechanization Scheme:

• The applying farmer's Aadhar card.

• A passport-sized photograph of the applicant farmer is required.

• Bank passbook copy for the farmer's bank account information.

• Online Enrolment Receipt from the farmer.

• Tractor radio control.

• Purchased agricultural equipment computerized bill

How to Apply for Agricultural Mechanization Scheme Subsidies

Farmers in the state can apply for a subsidy on agricultural machinery under the Bihar Agricultural Mechanization Scheme by visiting the Bihar Agriculture Department's official website at https://dbtagriculture.bihar.gov.in. If you are unable to apply online, you may apply in person at the CSC. Explain that to apply online, you must first obtain a registration number by registering with the Agriculture Department's Direct Benefit Transfer DBT. Following that, you can apply online. From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., farmer brothers can apply online for this scheme.
