Chennai's Dhaksha Unmanned Systems has initiated deliveries of its highly anticipated Agri Drones 'DH-Agrigator-E10 Plus' to IFFCO. Equipped with advanced features, the drones signal a transformative step in modern agriculture. The collaboration aims to revolutionize farming methods, leveraging cutting-edge drone technology for increased productivity and sustainability.

Chennai-based drone manufacturing powerhouse, Dhaksha Unmanned Systems, has officially kicked off the delivery phase for its much-awaited Agri Drones to IFFCO, a major player in India's agricultural cooperative scene. The collaboration signals a strong impact on the agricultural sector. The integration with drone technology will transform traditional farming methods and elevate both productivity and sustainability in the sector.

Dhaksha's top-notch Agri Drone, the 'DH-Agrigator-E10 Plus,' is a modern Kisan drone loaded with a 10-liter spray tank and a robust 25,200 mAh battery, capable of covering an impressive 3 acres of farmland on just one charge. 

The inclusion of cutting-edge features, such as First Person View (FPV) cameras providing a pilot's-eye perspective, obstacle, and terrain sensors ensuring obstacle-free navigation, and the Return-to-Launch (RTL) functionality facilitating automatic return in low battery or liquid levels, positions these drones as invaluable assets for contemporary agriculture. 

As the initial batch of drones was delivered, IFFCO officials stood witness, marking the teamwork between the two companies in adopting the best drone technology for agriculture.

IFFCO has exciting plans to make the most of Dhaksha's Agri Drones. These drones will not only optimize farming operations but also offer crucial insights into crop health, streamline the spraying of pesticides and fertilizers, and cut down on labor costs. This move aligns with IFFCO's goal of ramping up agricultural productivity and sustainability.

 

CEO Ramanathan Narayanan from Dhaksha Unmanned Systems shared his excitement, expressing delight in announcing the commencement of deliveries to IFFCO. The 'Kisan Drones' have undergone thorough design and certification processes to meet IFFCO's exacting technical standards. Dhaksha Unmanned Systems takes great pride in contributing to the noble mission of elevating agricultural productivity and sustainability, further solidifying its dedication to this impactful cause.

The Indian government is also taking steps to promote the adoption of drone technology in agriculture. In 2021, the government launched the Drone Shakti scheme to provide financial incentives to drone manufacturers and service providers. The government is also working on developing regulations to govern the safe and responsible use of drones in Indian airspace.

Through this collaboration, farmers nationwide can gain access to innovative technological solutions that will help them to enhance crop yields, reduce expenses, and ultimately, boost profitability.
