In an effort to enhance its global cybersecurity capabilities, CNH Industrial, a prominent player in the agricultural and construction equipment industry, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art cyber defense lab at its Gurugram technology center in India. This initiative underscores the company's commitment to safeguarding its multi-continent operations from cyber threats.

The cyber defense lab, situated at the CNH Industrial India Technology Center, is staffed by a team of 10 engineers, including certified ethical hackers and forensic investigators. These experts work in tandem with their counterparts in the United States to ensure round-the-clock protection of the company's critical systems and data.

The Importance of India in Cybersecurity

Marc Kermisch, Chief Digital & Information Officer at CNH Industrial, highlighted India's pivotal role in the company's global cybersecurity framework. The Indian team leads security operations for 12 hours each day, throughout the week, and seamlessly transitions the responsibility to the US team during non-working hours.

CNH Industrial's cyber defense vertical has developed an array of tools that enable real-time monitoring of over 40,000 assets connected to the company's network. This proactive approach empowers the team to counter cyber threats, combat malware, and educate CNH Industrial staff about best practices in cybersecurity.
