Sriram Kannan has been announced as the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director for CLAAS India, a wholly-owned Indian subsidiary of the renowned German agricultural machinery manufacturers. The company has gained recognition for its expertise in multi-crop harvesting, and this appointment symbolizes a major development in its leadership.

Sriram Kannan, with over 25 years of experience in the industry, has been overseeing manufacturing as the Managing Director of CLAAS India. Now, he's taken on the mantle of CEO & MD for all of CLAAS operations in India, a well-deserved promotion. Before joining CLAAS India in 2014, he held roles at Bosch (formerly MICO), Kurlon, and Lapp India.

In expressing his feelings about the new role, Sriram Kannan shared his excitement, stating how thrilled he is to lead CLAAS India. He conveyed his thanks to the global management at CLAAS for trusting in his leadership skills. With anticipation, he looks forward to taking CLAAS India's market operations to the next level of growth.

In his new role, Kannan will focus on addressing the challenge of low-cost imports and revitalizing the market for CLAAS through existing products. Additionally, he will be responsible for developing, producing, and launching new products locally. The company aims to tap into the vast potential by finding markets for products produced outside India. Ultimately, the primary focus is on growing CLAAS India's business.

CLAAS India highlights its strong presence in the country, delivering affordable and innovative farming technologies to Indian agricultural communities. With its headquarters in Bengaluru, CLAAS has been catering to the Indian market for more than three decades, expanding its influence to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and South America. The company takes pride in a robust distribution network in South Asia, serving a vast clientele of over 10,000 customers.

CLAAS Agricultural Machinery started producing Crop Tiger combine harvesters in India. These machines are equipped with a Tangential Axial Flow (TAF) threshing mechanism, carefully designed to address the issues Indian farmers encounter, with a specific focus on reducing grain losses during manual harvesting.
