Case IH is celebrating a major victory as its Farmall 75C Electric tractor has been awarded the prestigious Farm Machine 2024 award in the Utility Tractor category.

This award, formerly known as Machine of the Year, is one of the most coveted prizes in the agricultural engineering industry and is given out biennially during Agritechnica. The award is judged by a panel of experts from leading farm machinery magazines across Europe.

The Farmall 75C Electric tractor marks a substantial advancement in the Farmall brand's narrative and the broader agricultural domain. As the pioneer fully-electric full-size tractor in the industry, it serves Case IH's dedication to sustainable power.

The tractor consists of several impressive features, including an instant-torque electric drivetrain that reduces brake and tire wear, enhances attainable speed and pulling power, contributes to noise reduction, and slashes operating costs by up to 90%.

Mirco Romagnoli, Vice President of Case IH for Europe, expressed his enthusiasm for the award, saying that it is a fantastic way to celebrate a great first few days at Agritechnica 2023. He commended the Case IH design and engineering team for their innovative work on the Farmall 75C Electric.

Romagnoli also highlighted the significance of the Farm Machine award, saying that it is a "proud moment" for Case IH. He described the Farmall 75C Electric as a "monumental step in efficiency and environmental protection" and a fitting way to mark the 100th year of the Farmall brand.

Christian Huber, Vice President of Global Tractor Product Management Case IH and General Manager of CNH Industrial Austria emphasized the Farmall brand's historical significance, dating back to 1923. He said that the Farmall 75C Electric marks a new milestone in the brand's history and demonstrates the technological advancements that have been made to Farmall tractors since the brand's reintroduction.

Romagnoli expressed his gratitude to the Farm Machine award judges and the Case IH development team for their contributions.
