Case IH Celebrates Milestone with 1000th Sugarcane Harvester Produced at Pune Plant
CNH Industrial announced that the Austoft sugarcane harvester, marking the 1000th unit, was unveiled at the manufacturing plant in the presence of CNH Industrial's leadership team.

This accomplishment highlights Case IH's commitment to excellence in meeting the needs of the sugarcane industry and solidifies its position as a leader in the market.
CNH Industrial announced that the Austoft sugarcane harvester, marking the 1000th unit, was unveiled at the manufacturing plant in the presence of CNH Industrial's leadership team.
Narinder Mittal, the Managing Director of CNH Industrial – Agriculture Business, India, and SAARC, expressed his pride and satisfaction on the occasion of the 1000th Austoft sugarcane harvester rollout. He emphasized that this achievement demonstrates the capabilities of Case IH India and motivates them to continue delivering adaptable machines to their esteemed customers.
Mittal also highlighted the widespread acceptance of this mechanical solution by the sugar industry, farmers, and harvesting contractors. He mentioned that they supply harvesters not only in India but also in other export markets.

Furthermore, he reiterated their commitment to providing a comprehensive range of solutions for mechanized sugarcane cultivation. This includes top-notch harvesting equipment, appropriate tools for optimal cultivation practices, and world-class post-harvesting solutions for farmers.
According to the global farm machinery giant, the Case IH Austoft series sugarcane harvesters are specifically designed to enhance the efficiency of sugarcane harvesting, a process that is often laborious and time-consuming. These harvesters incorporate advanced technology and are considered pioneers in mechanical cane harvesting in India. Their lightweight and compact design allows them to operate effectively in partially wet fields, expanding their capability to harvest under different conditions. The series caters to sugarcane plantations with a row-to-row spacing of 1.2 meters or more, a trend that many Indian sugar mills have embraced for mechanizing their cane harvesting over the past 8-10 years.
