By putting a focus on value addition and export of agricultural goods, it encourages the use of technology and scientific methods in agriculture and promotes integrated farming systems. CAMPCO believes that the government's assistance with research demonstrates its dedication to addressing the predicament of the Areca Farmers.
Farmers who have Kisan Credit Cards will receive an additional subsidy of Rs 10,000/- under this scheme. The Jeevan Jyoti Insurance Scheme for Farmers and Families has been declared worth Rs 150 crore. According to a press release, the budget has been set aside for the comprehensive development of the agricultural sector.
According to A. Kishore Kumar Kodgi, president of CAMPCO, the budget is good and balanced because it funds agriculture as well as other sectors.
The yearly budget for Karnataka, which is up for election in May, was presented by Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Friday. This budget is critical for the Bommai-led BJP government. In his budget speech, the chief minister made numerous significant promises, including the construction of a Ram Temple in Ramanagar and the creation of a Rs 1,000 crore fund for temples and mutts.
Bommai proposed a rise in the cap on interest-free short-term loans offered to farmers from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 5 lakh in the upcoming fiscal year in an effort to win over farmers in this election year.
