BJP's 'Modi Ki Guarantee' Delivers Victory in Chhattisgarh, Farmers Await Implementation of Promises

In a resounding victory, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) emerged triumphant in Chhattisgarh, particularly gaining favor in tribal-dominated regions, credited to its campaign promises encapsulated in the 'Modi Ki Guarantee 2023.' The party, having learned from past setbacks, crafted a manifesto that resonated with the concerns and aspirations of the people, particularly the farming community.

Among the pivotal assurances made by the BJP was the commitment to procure 21 quintals of paddy per acre at a competitive rate of Rs 3,100 per quintal. This move is expected to significantly benefit the agrarian sector, providing a stable income for farmers in the state. The 'Mahtari Vandan Yojana,' promising an annual financial assistance of Rs 12,000 to married women, further garnered support, with reports indicating its increasing popularity among women.

The 'PM Awas Yojna' vows to construct 18 lakh houses, addressing the housing needs of many in the state. Additionally, promises such as tendu leaf procurement at Rs 5,500 per standard sack, a bonus of Rs 4,500 to leaf collectors, and annual assistance of Rs 10,000 to landless farm laborers underscore the BJP's commitment to bolster the rural economy.

Recognizing the challenges faced by women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, the party pledged to provide cooking gas cylinders at Rs 500 each and extend monthly travel allowances to students commuting to college. The 'Chhattisgarh Gruha Lakshmi Yojana,' announced by Chief Minister Baghel on Diwali, further promises financial assistance of Rs 15,000 annually to women, aiming to empower them economically.

Moreover, the assurance of an 'ashvasan' certificate worth Rs 1.50 lakh to below-poverty line (BPL) families on the birth of a girl child and free trips to Ayodhya to visit the Ram Temple underscore the BJP's commitment to social welfare and cultural endeavors.
