Bayer, a global team that aims to change the agriculture scenario through innovations that will benefit farmers and the farm sector signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Cargill, an agribusiness company, aimed at providing different agriculture products and services in food, risk management fields and many more.

Through the collaboration of cutting-edge platforms like Cargill's 'Digital Sathi ', a mobile-centric, artificial intelligence (AI) powered service platform customized to specific local requirements, and Bayers' Better Life Farming Centres, which assists more than 500,000 small-scale farmers, this strategic alliance is committed to enhancing market opportunities for smallholder farmers. Bayer's e-commerce platform through Digital Saathi will allow corn farming to expand in the Karnataka region, provide them with a unique solution and increase its reach in several other areas.

The collaboration between Cargill and Bayer will provide effective solutions, bring more awareness, and lead to discussion forums, information regarding weather forecasts, information on pre and post-harvest crops to be grown, and business insights on market price. Joining hands with Food Value Chain Partners will allow the agriculture sector to get more enhanced, and promoting Bayer's corn portfolio DEKALB on the Digital app will increase the reach.

Furthermore, Cargill's advanced platform, Digital Saathi, introduces convenient features such as Crop Input e-commerce and Crop Sell Offer, thereby improving smallholder farmers' access to top-notch crop inputs and establishing a digitally enabled marketplace that connects farmers with aggregators. This integrated approach aims to empower farmers in making informed decisions, streamline their agricultural activities, and foster seamless connections within the agricultural landscape.
