AITMC Ventures Private Limited, a leading National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) training partner in India, has partnered with a leading sustainable agriculture solution provider UPL SAS.

In the joint venture, UPL SAS and AVPL have agreed to work together to train 50,000 rural agriculture entrepreneurs. AVPL will train candidates in 50 cutting-edge training facilities spread across India.

The training programs will cover topics such as good agricultural practices, drone operations, boom sprayer operations, soil testing, and so on. UPL SAS will serve as a knowledge partner to AVPL and skill development organizations such as NSDC in developing training modules and conducting Training of Trainers (ToTs) to make training programs more relevant and impactful.

The trained candidates will be encouraged to open their own Agri input store, crop advisory centers, modern custom hiring centers, and so on, which will assist the farming community in obtaining quality Agri input products and farm mechanization services through these ventures, resulting in increased crop productivity and farmer income.

Ashish Dobhal, India Region Director at UPL SAS commented that, "We are very happy to join hands with AVPL. Our engagement will lead to making Indian agriculture more sustainable and resilient by building capacities of aspiring rural agriculture entrepreneurs, who will further help farming communities to address their farming challenges."

Director at AVPL, Deep Sisai highlighted his excitement for the partnership and stated, "It is a great opportunity for us to build abilities in the field of agriculture under the guidance of UPL SAS professionals. As the training partner of the Haryana Skill Development Mission, we are launching this project in Haryana, where we will teach and nurture 14000 rural entrepreneurs over the course of the next two years. In the next months, the same programs will be launched in MP, Gujarat, and Jharkhand.”

Business Head - Retail & New Business Division at UPL SAS Tushar Trivedi also voiced his opinions. He remarked, "In India, the majority of the population is still dependent on agriculture, and there is a severe shortage of trained labor that can help make agriculture more profitable. I am very confident that our collaboration with AVPL will aid in the development of skill in the agriculture sector.
