AutoNxt Automation Exhibits Self-Driving Electric Tractor
At the Chandigarh Electric Vehicle Expo, AutoNxt Automation, India's first electric tractor company, recently presented their self-driving electric tractor.
AutoNxt Automation, India's first electric tractor venture, recently displayed its self-driving Electric Tractor at the Chandigarh Electric Vehicle Expo. This electric vehicle expo was organized by the PhD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) at the Sector 34 exhibition ground in Chandigarh.
PHDCCI's goal with this expo is to bring all relevant stakeholders together on a common platform for the development of future-ready and environmentally sustainable mobility products and technologies and to provide a platform for the general public to learn more about EV products and government policies.
Though the Centre and state governments have already implemented various policies on the sale and purchase of electric vehicles, the public is unaware of the benefits due to a lack of advertising, and this Expo attracted a large number of people to witness and understand all different Electric Vehicles ranging from e-rickshaws to luxury EV cars, electric LCVs, e-buses, and even e-Tractors.
Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar, Cabinet Minister for State, and Shri. Dushyant Chautala, Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister of Haryana, as well as Punjab Chief Minister Shri. Bhagwant Singh Mann's wife visited the Expo and pushed for faster deployment of EVs in the region. The ministers also tried out AutoNxt Automation's electric self-driving tractor by boarding on it.
"We are extremely privileged to have Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister and other Cabinet Ministers in our stall who have appreciated the presence of only EV Tractor in the show. Visitors were also enthusiastic about the AutoNxt e-Tractor, with many expressing interest in purchasing the electric tractor. Simultaneously, we have received many expressions of interest from local distributors for our e-Tractors," said Pankaj Goyal, Co-Founder & COO of AutoNxt Automation.
Mr. Goyal also presented a talk on Punjab EV Policy during the expo, requesting that the government include e-tractors in EV policies and create provisions for incentives to promote faster adoption of e-tractors in the state.
