Minister Atul Bora took the opportunity to underline the Assam government's unwavering commitment to adopting modern technology in agriculture. He emphasized that under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, the government is prioritizing the integration of cutting-edge technology into the agricultural sector. This move aims to not only enhance productivity but also ensure the sustainability of agricultural practices in the state.

In another context, India's G20 Sherpa, Amitabh Kant, lauded the remarkable strides made in digitizing agriculture and harnessing technological innovations. These initiatives have taken center stage during India's G20 presidency this year. Kant stressed the pivotal role of agricultural digitization in heralding the next green revolution. He highlighted the potential of transforming the agriculture sector into a data-driven, adaptive system capable of effectively addressing the challenges posed by climate change.

Kant's remarks were part of his address at the G20 India Agri-tech Summit 2023, which unfolded on August 28 in the vibrant city of New Delhi. This summit, hosted as part of India's G20 Presidency, served as a global platform to spotlight India's commitment to fostering innovation, encouraging collaboration, and championing sustainability in agriculture. With participants hailing from diverse corners of the world, the event provided a unique opportunity for stakeholders to share agricultural experiences and strategies.

Furthermore, Kant drew the summit's attention to the importance of inclusive digital infrastructure and tools that are tailored to meet the specific needs of the agricultural sector. These efforts, he believes, hold the key to unlocking the full potential of digital agriculture and ensuring that its benefits reach farmers across the nation.
