The Haryana Government operates the Haryana Krishi Yantra Grant Scheme under the Sub-Mission on Agricultural Mechanization (SMAM), a scheme of the Government of India to encourage farmers in the state, thereby increasing their income and improving their standard of living.
Under this scheme, the Haryana government provides a 40 to 80 percent subsidy on the purchase of agricultural machines to farmers in the state for them to do farming using modern equipment, allowing low-income farmers who face financial constraints to use these expensive agricultural machines.
Farmers who are interested in purchasing a Straw Baler, Rice Dryer, Fertilizer Broadcaster, Laser Land Leveler, Tractor Driven, Paddy Transplanter, He-Rake Machine, Mobile Shredder, Rotavator, Ripper Binder, Tractor Driving Powder Weeder, and other equipment can apply.
The Haryana government invites online applications from farmers in the state each year and provides the benefit of a grant on agricultural machines to eligible farmers through random draws based on the applications received.
Submission Scheme on Agricultural Mechanization
The Government of India implemented the Sub-Mission Plan on Agricultural Mechanization. The Government of India contributes 60% of the total cost, while the state bears 40%. This scheme includes a 40-50 percent subsidy on the purchase of the most advanced agricultural machines. The Haryana Government has made a provision to provide a 40% grant for the establishment of a Hi-Tech Center and an 80% grant for the establishment of a village-level machinery bank.

Eligibility for agricultural machine subsidies
- The applicant farmer must be a Haryana permanent resident.
- All necessary documents must be in the applicant farmer's name.
- The applicant must be at least 18 years old.
- The applicant farmer must own land for cultivation.
Documents needed to apply for the scheme
- Farmer's family identification card
- Certificate of caste
- Certificate of agricultural land
- Passbook for a bank account
- A passport-sized photograph
- Valid tractor RC
- A mobile number associated with Aadhar card and bank account
- Booking (Token Money) Amount Specifications.

Farmers in Haryana who want to benefit from the Krishi Yantra Anudan Yojana must apply by filling out an online application form on the Agriculture Department's official website, https://agriharyana.gov.in. The procedure must be completed.
