Apply For Subsidy On Tractor Reaper, Shredder, and Mulcher By 6 February 2023

The government launched the Agricultural Machinery Grant Scheme to provide farmers with affordable agricultural machinery. Currently, farmers in Madhya Pradesh state are eligible for subsidies on tractor reaper, shredder, and mulcher agricultural machinery under this scheme. Farmers have been invited to submit applications for this. Earlier the application deadline was set for February 1, but due to a lack of applications received, it has been extended. Farmers can now apply for agricultural machinery subsidies through this scheme until February 6.

Farmers will receive a subsidy on category-specific agricultural machinery offered by the Madhya Pradesh Agricultural Engineering Department. Farmers can receive a subsidy ranging from 40% to 50% on the purchase of agricultural machinery under this programme. It is necessary to submit a demand draft along with the application

Before applying for agricultural implement subsidies, you must first make a demand draft in the name of the concerned district's agricultural implements. You must include a draft of Rs 10,000 for a straw reaper and Rs 5,000 for an automatic reaper or tractor reaper with your application. The e-Krishi Anudan portal has a district-by-district list of agricultural machinery.

Documents required for applying for agricultural machinery subsidies

Farmers will need the following documents to receive agricultural machinery subsidies:

• Scanned copy of bank draft

• farmer's Aadhar card

• Copy of passbook for bank account delivery

• Caste Certificate (only for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe farmers)

• Farm papers containing a copy of B-1

• RC of tractor

Where can I apply for agricultural machinery subsidies?

Farmers in Madhya Pradesh can apply online through the e-Krishi Anudan portal on office days from 12 a.m. to 5 p.m. until January 6, 2023, to receive a subsidy under the Madhya Pradesh Agricultural Engineering Department's E-Krishi Yantra Grant Scheme. Farmer brothers can also apply by visiting the scheme's official website.

On February 7, a lottery for agricultural machinery subsidies will be held.

The lottery will be held on February 7 at noon under Madhya Pradesh's E-Krishi Yantra Anudan Yojana, against the targets of applications received from farmers interested in purchasing agricultural machinery on subsidy. The list of selected farmers and the waiting list will be posted on the portal by 4 p.m. following the lottery. Beneficiary farmers' names will appear on this list.
