Andhra Pradesh- FMTTI Leads the Way with Mechanization Training for Anantpur Farmers
The institution provides the trainees with in-depth knowledge of farm mechanization, knowledge of crop adaptability, and the use of advanced agricultural machinery, increasing expertise in farming techniques.

Nestled within Anantapur district's Garladinne mandal, the Southern Region Farmers Machinery Testing and Training Institute (FMTTI) stands out as a prominent national institute and main representative for South India.
The institute includes agriculture polytechnic students Sirisha and Anitha, who left the institute enriched by automation insights and hands-on machinery experience. The institute has a 200-hectare campus accommodating 100 participants from states like Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
The institute has annually welcomed agriculture students, government officials, and farmers offering rich exposure to diverse agricultural equipment suited for varying terrains.
The trainees have received a prominent education in farm mechanization, soil analysis, climate-adaptable crops, and agricultural equipment operation. Beyond model farmers, agriculture students also frequent the institute, seeking mechanization insights and networking opportunities with fellow farmers from across the nation.
The institute plays a vital role in the district, demonstrating agricultural machines including tillers, harvesters, and paddy transplanters. Demonstration camps are tailor-made for farmers, ensuring they benefit from improved tools that lead to more efficient farming practices, timely operations, and increased productivity.
