Agritechnica Asia 2024: These Tractor Brands to Participate & Showcase Innovative Machinery

Agritechnica Asia 2024 is set to expand its influence, alternating between Thailand and Vietnam from 2025. The exhibition aims to address specific regional farming needs, attracting 15,000 professionals.

Expanding its presence in Asia, the Agritechnica exhibition, organized by the German Agricultural Society (DLG), is gearing up to meet the increasing demand in the region.

Currently hosted biennially in Thailand, Agritechnica Asia, a branch of the world-renowned agricultural machinery exhibition Agritechnica held in Hanover, Germany, is extending its reach to key growth areas in Asia.

Starting in 2025, the event will alternate between Thailand and Vietnam, meeting the specific needs of each region's farmers. In odd years, the exhibition will be in Vietnam, while even years will see it in Thailand. The 2025 edition will mark its debut in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from 12-14 March, followed by the 2026 edition in Bangkok, Thailand.

The decision to bring the exhibition to Vietnam reflects DLG's localized approach globally, allowing farming professionals to access region-specific solutions and agricultural knowledge.

 

Organized by DLG Asia Pacific, a DLG subsidiary, Agritechnica Asia will provide cross-agriculture synergies, including horticulture and floriculture. Their main aim is to contribute to sustainable development in local agriculture through expertise and tailored concepts.Vietnam, with its rapidly growing economy and government emphasis on agricultural mechanization, offers substantial potential for agricultural machinery manufacturers. Meanwhile, Thailand remains a central hub in Asia, uniting the region's agricultural community.

 

Jens Kremer, CEO of DLG International, emphasizes their dedication to serving all farmers, regardless of location or specific challenges.

Under the sole stewardship of the DLG Asia Pacific team, combined with partnerships with industry stakeholders, regional agricultural organizations, and governmental entities, Agritechnica Asia remains dedicated to boosting innovation in the agricultural sector. The much-anticipated fourth edition, set to attract a staggering 15,000 agricultural professionals, promises to be a landmark event. Scheduled for May 22nd to 24th, 2024, at the BITEC exhibition center in Bangkok, Thailand, the event will be jointly organized by DLG and VNU Exhibition Asia Pacific and will run concurrently with Horti Asia, further broadening its scope and appeal.

 

Notably, over 300 exhibitors, including industry giants like AGCO, CNH Industrial, John Deere, and India's Mahindra Group, have already committed to participating in Agritechnica Asia 2024, solidifying its position as a premier platform for agricultural innovation and collaboration.
