Agri Production Dept Educates Students on the 'Daksh Kisan' Portal
Daksh Kisan Learning Management program aims to develop and create awareness amongst students and improve their skills. The portal provides 121 arrays of free courses online with diverse language.

Recently one-day awareness program on the "Daksh Kisan Learning Management" was organized by Agriculture Production Department Anantnag at Government Degree College, Bijbehara, Srinagar under Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP). The main aim of the Daksh portal is to inculcate knowledge and skills among several sections of people.
Chief of Horticulture Officer Anantnag, Roshan Din Dar hosted the event which also witnessed the presence of esteemed individuals such as the Principal of Government Degree College Bijbehara, the Agriculture Extension Officer from the Agriculture Department, and the Head of the Botany department.
A significant number of college students actively engaged in the event were extensively educated about the pioneering 'Daksh Kisan' web portal, which provides an all-encompassing learning management system comprising an impressive array of 121 certificate courses. This innovative platform boasts an extensive collection of multimedia resources, including videos and learning materials available in four different languages, catering to diverse linguistic preferences. The event successfully acquainted the participating students with the vast opportunities for knowledge enhancement and skill development offered by the portal.
Through the distributed pamphlets that consisted of QR codes students could easily scan and access the portal. This would help them to register for free online courses and increase their knowledge abruptly.
Through this program, the students were extensively educated on the diverse developmental schemes implemented by the Agriculture Department and its associated sectors. Through visually engaging videos, the event showcased the multitude of benefits offered by these schemes to the general public, with a particular focus on generating employment opportunities for unemployed youth.

The event reached its culmination with a closing address delivered by the esteemed Principal of GDC Bijbehara, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all participants and resource persons for their collective efforts in making this event worthwhile and successful.
