Indian drone leader, Garuda Aerospace, has achieved an excellent feat by becoming the first company in the country to receive dual DGCA certifications for both manufacturing and pilot training of small and medium-sized drones.

This dual certification empowers Garuda Aerospace to play a crucial role in Prime Minister Modi's visionary "Namo Drone Didi" initiative. This program aims to equip 15,000 women Self Help Groups (SHGs) with agricultural drones, revolutionizing farming practices and empowering rural women.

Garuda Aerospace's expertise in both drone manufacturing and training will be instrumental in successfully implementing this initiative, improving agricultural efficiency, and empowering rural women entrepreneurs. This initiative also seeks to uplift women with a specific emphasis on developing drone technology for efficient fertigation systems.

The DGCA authorization also allows Garuda Aerospace to train one lakh youth across India as drone pilots, creating new career opportunities and bridging the skill gap in this emerging field. Moreover, the company's commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) is evident through its "Equality Drone Training Program," empowering persons with disabilities to become certified drone pilots and participate in the growing drone economy.

Garuda Aerospace's diverse range of small and medium-sized drones cater to various needs, from surveillance and photography to agricultural mapping, spraying, and delivery services. This versatility positions the company to address challenges in various sectors, including agriculture, infrastructure, emergency response, and logistics.
