Farm tillage equipment is a farming tool used to efficiently till the land. Tillage tools are divided into two categories based on their functions:

Primary Tillage Equipment

Primary tillage equipment refers to agricultural implements that are used to open and lose soil. A plough is an excellent example of a primary tillage tool, and it comes in three varieties: wooden ploughs, iron ploughs, and special purpose ploughs.

Secondary Tillage Equipment

Secondary tillage equipment refers to agricultural tools used for soil pulverization, clod breaking, making sound seedbeds, weed control, and bringing soil to a fine tilth. Furthermore, secondary tillage implements include the cultivator, harrow, plank and roller, and disc harrow tillage.
