Here are some of the top agriculture exams that are conducted every year:

ICAR AIEEA

ICAR AIEEA (All India Entrance Examination for Admission) is conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) for admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs in agriculture and allied sciences.

Eligibility Criteria 

According to National Testing Agency (NTA), the ICAR AIEEA 2023 UG Admission will be based on CUET entrance exam scores 2023.

Candidates must be citizens of India

Candidates to be a must citizen of India

Age must be 16 years as of 31 August 2023

Age must be a minimum of 19 years as of 31 August 2023

Candidates have passed 12th  from a recognized board/university. An aggregate of 50% - OBC/UPS, 40% - SC/ST / PC Category 

Candidates to follow this pattern from 10+2+5/ 10+2+4 /10+2+3 Or 10+6

No supplementary exams. If persisted proof is to be given for clearance of the exam.

Candidates to have a Grade point of 6.6/10, 3.25/5, or 2.60/4 - General/OBC/UPS Category. For SC/ST /PC a grade point of 5.60/10,2.75/5,2.20/4 is required.


JRF/SRF

 Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) exams are conducted by ICAR to provide fellowships to eligible candidates for pursuing research in agriculture and allied sciences.

Eligibility Criteria

Junior Research Fellowship (JRF )

Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) 

Candidates passing their bachelor’s degree or are in their final year  are eligible

Candidates completed the Masters's Degree program with minimum marks of 55% or a grade point of 5.5/10.00, 2.75/5.00, or 2.20/4.00.For PC/SC/ST relaxation of 5 %.

Candidates to obtain 60% and grade points of 6.60/10, 3.25/5.00, or 2.6/4.00 - General/OBS/UPS. For SC/ST/PC an aggregate of 50% or grade point of  5.5/10.0 or 2.75/5.00 or 2.20/4.00 is required.

Obtain minimum marks of 55% or a grade point of 5.5/10.00, 2.75/5.00, or 2.20/4.00.For PC/SC/ST relaxation of 5 % in their Masters.

 Agriculture Field Officer (AFO) exam is conducted by various banks for the recruitment of Agriculture Field Officers in their organization.

Eligibility Criteria

IFS

 Indian Forest Service (IFS) exam is conducted by UPSC for recruitment to the Indian Forest Service, which involves managing and conserving forests and wildlife.

Three stages are being followed:-

It consists of two paper GS I and CSAT which is completely objective. The cut-off is more than UPSC, as the vacancy is less.
