EM3 AgriServices, an Agriculture Services Company, has launched a mobile app that brings expensive farming technology to farmers at a pocket-friendly budget. Farmers in Madhya Pradesh can use this app to place orders for renting farm equipment and services, and it also includes the option to pay online using a payment wallet.

EM3 AgriServices brings expensive farming technology to farmers on a pay-per-use basis, assisting small-scale farmers in keeping up with globalization and technological advances. It does so through its Samadhan farming-as-a-service platform, which employs an app, physical call centers, and human representatives to interact with it’s mostly offline consumer base. Each center is outfitted to handle a full range of basic and precision farm operations throughout the crop production cycle, including land preparation, sowing/transplanting, crop management, harvesting, and post-harvest farm management. Farmers can easily contact EM3 to book services, monitor work in their fields, and manage all transactions via Samadhan.

EM3 is expanding into more Indian provinces and has formed alliances with local governments as well as leading Indian and global equipment manufacturers.

The company also intends to expand its Samadhan Kendras. Samadhan Kendras provide farm equipment and services such as tractors, soil analysis, seedbed preparation, sowing, fertilizer application, weed/pest control, harvesting, and post-harvest operations.

Currently, the company operates ten such centers in Madhya Pradesh. The company has established its franchise in 100 locations by the end of 2017. In Gujarat, the company has been collaborating with potato farmers with McCain Foods (India), which produces French fries and potato specialties.

According to Rohtash Mal, chairman of EM3 AgriServices, "we will significantly increase our reach of farm mechanization and enable digital empowerment of farmers in Madhya Pradesh by leveraging internet technology, mobile telecom services, financial services, and cloud technologies."

Farm mechanization, according to industry estimates, will increase productivity by 20% and reduce cultivation costs by 25%, and will be critical in increasing farmers' income.

“Farmers can use our pay-per-use model to deploy mechanization technology without investing in the asset, He also mentioned financial services and cloud technologies. These measures will increase farm output and prosperity, resulting in inclusive national growth."
