The Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare in District Faridkot has extended the application deadline for the establishment of a "Paddy Straw Supply Chain Unit" under the Crop Residue Management (CRM) Scheme. Beneficiaries interested in participating in this initiative are urged to submit their application letters by August 15.

Financial Support and Machinery Subsidies:

Under the scheme, eligible beneficiaries will receive significant financial support. The government contributes 65% of the funding, while the industry department provides a 25% subsidy. Beneficiaries are responsible for the remaining 10%. The scheme aims to promote sustainable agricultural practices by subsidizing various machinery and equipment.
