John Deere Releases Two New Compact Sprayers at AGRITECHNICA 2023

John Deere unveiled two compact sprayers, the 332M and 340M, at Agritechnica 2023, catering to farms with narrow access. These sprayers feature advanced technology, adjustable track width, and varying tank capacities. With a strategic release plan, they are set to be available in select European countries next year, followed by a global rollout in subsequent years.

John Deere an American corporation, produces agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery. Deere's plows were designed to cut through tough soils, and they quickly became popular with farmers. The company has since expanded into a global leader in agricultural machinery. It now manufactures a wide variety of tractors, combines, harvesters, and other agricultural equipment. The company's products are sold in over 100 countries around the world.

Agritechnica 2023 which has been organized in Germany has showcased the groundbreaking advancements in agricultural technology and its potential to optimize global agriculture. With a record-breaking turnout of 2,812 exhibitors from 52 countries and over 470,000 visitors from 149 countries, the world's premier agricultural machinery trade fair solidified its position as a leading platform for innovation and collaboration.

John Deere has released two new compact sprayers, the 332M and 340M, that are designed for farms with narrow access roads. The sprayers have a 50:50 weight distribution and a track width that can be adjusted from 1.5 to 3.0 meters.

Deere, which acquired Italian sprayer manufacturer Mazzotti in 2017, presents green and yellow sprayers made in Ravenna, sharing technology with the latest MAF models. Despite similarities, the 300Ms feature adapted chassis, different wheel motors, and fixed height, distinguishing them from Mazzotti models.

The 332M has a 3,200-liter tank capacity and is powered by a 175-horsepower four-cylinder engine. It is available with 24-meter and 28-meter steel or air-assisted booms. The turning circle is 3.8 meters.

The 340M has a 4,000-liter tank capacity and is powered by a 225-horsepower six-cylinder engine. It is available with 24-meter and 36-meter steel booms and air-assisted versions up to 36 meters. The turning circle is 4.2 meters.

332M and 340M models boast a top speed of 50km/hr, equipped with advanced features like individual nozzle control, these sprayers ensure efficiency and precision.

Both sprayers are available with steel or stainless-steel booms with air sleeves. The new Cat IV cab is front-mounted and provides good all-round and boom visibility. The seats are both suspended and heated. The PowrSpray two-circuit liquid system offers fast filling of up to 600 liters per minute on the 300Ms and a precise output of 750 liters per minute at three bars. The sprayers are equipped with a StarFire receiver, G5 Universal Display, and JDLink. They will be available in France, Poland, Spain, and the UK next year. Other countries will follow in the next few years.
