Inspirational Story Of Narendra Malav - The Successful Beekeeper

This is the success tale of a Kota-based small farmer Narendra Malav. He began his beekeeping journey in the year 2004. A small trick that he applied for his successful beekeeping business includes selling bees rather than only selling honey. 

For his beekeeping business, he also learned techniques and methods from Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Kota. Apart from successfully selling Malav honey he also sold bees.

For his beekeeping business, he had invested ₹ 10,000. He is very blessed and is grateful to his brother who supported immensely in this business. Today earning big bucks up to 25 lac per month.

With a successful business now he has employed seven to eight employees under him. He says that bee colony spacing and boxing them is very vital for achieving quality, honey. Malav has currently 1300 bee colonies. Each colony produces 25 to 30 Kg of honey every year. Therefore this produces enough amount of honey for commercial and other purposes.

His beekeeping business produced different types of honey like fennel, mustard, and coriander honey. He also explained that beekeeping involves a lot of management and requires a bit of focus. Narendra Malav also suggested that for initial business, an investment of ₹ 25k - 30k will be enough, planting 25 to 50 boxes.
