Autonomous FARMING Equipment Gains New Height

John Deere, Case IH launches their latest technologies aimed to help towards the growth of farmers. Recently some known technologies were being displayed in Commodity Classic, Orlando.

 Recently some popular technologies were being displayed to farmers around the world at Commodity Classic in Orlando. The equipment manufacturers have claimed to create and modify farm equipment which will increase farm yields at a larger scale.

Matt Olson a precision agriculture manager for John Deere said that “We are committed to moving forward as an industry”. “When you look at the future, we continue to evolve at an increasingly fast pace  because of technology.”

In the last year itself, John Deere released their first tractor for performing tillage operations. It released  8R tractors with a TruSet-enabled chisel plow, GPS guidance, and advanced technologies.

The Deere also envisions lifting up the economy, helping farmers to gain more profits, curtailing the cost of farming, and covering major work in less time.

Olson had also told, “ We are committed by 2030 to have a fully autonomous production system for row crops, from planting and spraying to harvest and tillage”. 

Deere has also attempted to make really advanced equipment which is certainly to be more efficient, See and Spray Ultimate is one such example. This technology will enable in reduction of non-residual herbicides which have been used by more than two-thirds population.

See and Spray  Ultimate consists of 36 cameras. It is a 120-foot sprayer boom that can easily scan more than 21,00 feet. Therefore able to apply herbicide to the targeted weeds. The latest See and Spray models persist 2023 John Deere 410R, and 412 R sprayers.

Meanwhile, Case IH unveiled its latest technology, TriDent 5550 sprayer with Raven Autonomy at last year's Farm Progress Show.

Kendal Quandahl, Case IH precision technology manager from Waterloo also told that “One of the biggest things we aim for is helping producers understand it’s not just a driverless machine but rather a series of automated equipment”.

Recently Case IH launched its new Farmall 90 and 120 model tractors. Joe Miller, Case IH tractor market segment told,  “It's an exciting moment for them as they celebrate the past innovation on farms from 1923 to today”.Recently Case IH launched its new Farmall 90 and 120 model tractors.
