Agri Drones Empowering Women SHGs Emerge as Key to Farming Sector Modernization

The collaboration between IFFCO, a prominent cooperative, and industry stakeholders has been met with enthusiasm as they applaud the government's initiative to empower women's self-help groups with agricultural drones. Prime Minister Narendra Modi's nationwide address introduced a comprehensive plan, aiming to provide agri-drones to 15,000 women self-help groups (SHGs), accompanied by training for piloting and maintaining unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The progressive approach also highlights IFFCO's procurement of 2,500 agricultural drones, primarily designed for spraying Nano liquid urea and Nano DAP.
