Through kitchen gardening several vegetables, and fruits can be grown which are easily accessible and requires fewer resources for their growth. Chilli

Chilli can be easily germinated indoors. This crop requires humid conditions and a warm climate. Soil to be well aerated before sowing them inside the soil. The chili seeds should be sown in regions where they can easily avail light and regular moisture. Chilli should not be overwatered and regular monitoring to be done to availing quality chili.

Onion

To obtain good quality onions they should be sown in the kitchen garden from August to October. The soil is fully fertilized and make sure that the soil is fully aerated, this increases less chance of pest infestations. A well-drained soil is recommended. Seeds are to be sown at a 1-inch depth. Seed spacing is to be maintained. Plant spacing should be adjusted to 1 to 1 ½ feet.  Usually for onion seeds, it takes 7 to 10 days to germinate. Proper monitoring will give good-quality onions.

Okra

Okra can be grown in warm months. Sunlight is to be accessible for 5 to 6 hours. Sow seeds ½ inch deep. For outdoor sowing, 7-8 inches is required, for indoor growing 9-10 inches is required. Regulating water monitoring is essential.

Tomato

Tomatoes thrive best under specific growing conditions, necessitating a soil pH level within the optimal range of 6 to 6.8. Once the plant reaches a height of approximately 6 to 7 inches indoors, it should be relocated outdoors to an area where it can bask in direct sunlight for a duration of 7 to 8 hours. Ensure that the content is original and rephrased.

Brinjal

Brinjal is to be sown in a well-drained sandy loamy soil. Brinjal seeds should receive 5 to 6 hours of sunlight. Seeds are to be sown at a depth of 0.4 inches. Regular watering is required.
